Head Flag Football Coach

QUALIFICATIONS

• Develop a competitive intercollegiate athletic program, consistent with the values and core mission and values of Barber-Scotia College.
• Coach and supervise Assistant Coaches and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of all-conference and national athletic affiliations.
• Responsible for all aspects of recruiting programs within Barber-Scotia College guidelines.
• Manage the program’s budget within assigned funding levels.
• Monitors the academic progress of team members.
• In-depth knowledge of Flag Football  
• Collaborate with the Athletic Director to ensure profile information on all players is accurate and up-to-date, student-athletes are nominated for applicable awards, schedules are updated and accurate, and post-competition statistical reporting is complete.
• Communicate regularly with Athletic Training staff to ensure the health and well-being of student-athletes.
• Arrange travel plans and coordinate scheduling with the Athletic Director.
• Ensure student-athlete compliance with Barber-Scotia policies applicable to all students.
• Mentor and develop a positive and welcoming culture for student-athletes.
• Complete the required National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Coaching Course.
• Recruit a minimum of 16 players.
• Related duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
